The GCEAF high-level Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) side event is being organized by the Clean Energy Ministerial Biofuture Initiative, Mission Possible Partnership, World Economic Forum, Energy Transition Commission, and the Rocky Mountain Institute.

The SAF event will:

  • Feature the public release of the U.S. SAF Grand Challenge Roadmap
  • Educate the Clean Energy community on the decarbonization pathways and near-term actions across the breadth of the aviation sector
  • Engage policymakers and industry stakeholders on the necessary policies, milestones, and actions needed to unlock feedstock supply, biorefining development, and critical investment in the next decade
  • Showcase industry progress, including investments and SAF off-take agreements.
